I did it! I totally found this great deal on a nice digital SLR and I BOUGHT ONE! I’ve wanted one since, umm, like forever (or maybe two years). Ya, I’m super excited about it. So far, I’m discovering that most of the reviews were right, and the stock lens that comes with the XTi is not that great. But it’s still a huge step up from the point-n-shoot. I’ve never had one where you can adjust all the f-stop and aperture and whatall, so it’s a huge learning curve I’ve been on the last few days. Stay tuned for a bunch of pictures of flowers, since they are they are very accommodating models and never complain about the number of times I forget to turn the flash off before I get the right exposure settings
