Going Outside
I don’t have a fourth resolution for the Self Portrait Challenge this week, because I’m too busy working on my first resolution. Here’s my self-portrait for this week:

I’ve been playing in the woods, and there are a lot of trees down after the big windstorm we had last month. It’s interesting to be able to see the tops of these huge trees that were way up in the sky just a few weeks ago. And the roots are pretty cool too.

I love these pictures and can really relate to your resolution! I live on Vancouver Island in rain forest country and I don’t think even I have seen a root system that big!

Holli, Cinda, Suzie,
Thank you for the nice comments, and sorry about the delay in getting them approved. I get so much spam that I forget to look through and approve the real ones for a few days. But you’re set so that your comments will be auto-approved in the future and you won’t get lost in moderation-limbo.
I *was* having fun! I’m certainly in rain forest country here too, on the south side of the Puget Sound. The big windstorms pushed down some big trees. Suzie, I’m surprised that that same storm system didn’t knock down a few big trees in your area, too. I know that there were some big winds up in Tofino, but I suppose that’s quite a ways north of you.
Anyway, thanks for the kind words!
DeAnna
